PLEASE-Baleares, Platform for Education, Friendliness and Safety on the Roads is made up of entities and companies: ABA (Balearic Association of Driving Schools), ADALMO (Waste Management), ADSUM INTEGRIA, ASIMA (Association of Industrialists of Mallorca), CEMEX , FCIB (Balearic Cycling Federation), FEBT (Balearic Transport Business Federation), FEHM (Majorca Hotel Business Federation), VERLIO GROUP , NORAUTO , AND UNISPORT CONSULTING .

Summit of authorities and businesses on Road Safety this coming Wednesday in Palma organized by PLEASE-Baleares in collaboration with the CAEB.

At 12H. This coming Tuesday, October 17, 2023, and in the CAEB Assembly Hall (C/Aragón, 215, 2nd floor), a Round Table on Road Safety will take place that will bring together the main representatives of the entities and Balearic organizations related to road safety on our roads.

They will participate in this event presented by Petra Mut, Manager of the FEBT and moderated by José Carlos Rodríguez, from the consulting firm Adsum-Integria, Francisca Ramis, General Director of Traffic of the Balearic Islands, Antoni Cánovas, Road Safety Expert, Antoni Muntaner, renowned cyclist professional, Paco Cuenca, from the Balearic Cycling Federation and Miguel Esteva, professional driver with more than 25 years of experience in the sector.

After knowing the latest traffic accident data in the Balearic Islands, and with the desire to contribute to improving these rates, PLEASE-Baleares has proposed this coming Wednesday to organize a specific conference on the matter with the main actors in the sector and thus put on the table all those factors or solutions that should be proposed to the institutions responsible for road circulation in the Balearic Islands, in addition to improving and eliminating all those black spots that still appear on the maps of the islands.

In this sense, PLEASE-Baleares values the efforts of the Island Council of Mallorca in order to improve the main road sections with the most traffic on the Island, as is now the long-awaited start of the improvement of the connection of the second ring road of Palma with the FAN shopping center in Es Coll den Rebassa.
